[Krunker] What is the Xbox 360 OS?: That’s one of the questions posed by the website - WindowsForDevices.com. With then new console running a triple core variant of the PowerPC processor, it was natural to wonder what OS the new game console would be running. There’s no definitive answer from Microsoft but it appears that the Xbox 360 is running a derivative of the Xbox OS which itself was a derivative of the Windows 2000 OS. Sorry Unix/Linux folks but your OS probably won’t be found in the console.
