erresean[erresean] Coele of the Kzin: Much research and trade has gone into updating their space-faring combat abilities, though at the moment the Kzin forces are only slowing down the advance of the "Tzad" forces, which have a cloaking device, and speed the Kzin can only dream about. Many Kzin believe the Tzad will bring about the " Ztughmegf' ", a religious prophesy describing the end of the Kzinti race.Coele is very proud of his sister, Geejmb ("gracefulness", seventeen litters younger), who has had many litters and been mated to strong and valiant warriors.Coele's father no longer has a harem due to his injuries, including Coele's mother who mated with him for twelve Kzin years, and although he is considered a hero amongst the Kzinti, his current enfeebleness is socially believed to be passed onto his offspring, so no Kzinrret will choose him as their mate. Coele will return to Kzin within the next few years to challenge his father to combat, and to kill him, as that is the most honourable way his father can die.Coele has travelled over much of the known galaxy with the military, throughout the Kzin worlds and all over Kzin Prime, throughout CFoS and all over it's coreworlds, into the United Federation of Planets, the Amalgamated Worlds, the United Galactic Alliance, and most recently into the Federated Sentient Planets. He expects his next assignments to take him into the Inter-Species Confederation and beyond.Coele eats processed and cooked foods, as do all the Kzinti, he is socialable and polite during meals. He regularly dreams of greater glory, fine battles, and magnificent victories over worthy foes.Coele was educated and trained at the T'ver military academy on Kzin, he knows very little about anything other than warfare and soldiery.Coele has no nicknames, it is believed by his closest friends that noone has the audacity to attempt to call him anything other than his given name.Coele uses a customised blaster rifle he affectionately terms the "Ewokinator", due a bad experience he had once on a military drop.Coele has been awarded just about every medal in the book from the CFoS military arm, as well as the Kzinti Military System.Coele has lots of friends, his good nature and protective appeal ensure everyone who meets him either considers Coele a friend, or wants Coele to consider them friendly.Coele has an extensive list of contacts throughout the known worlds and beyond, though he uses data recorders to remember them as his personal memory is very average.Coele has very strong ties to his birth mother, and to his three living siblings, including his sister.Coele was abandoned by his parents as a newborn, however that is considered normal behaviour in Kzin society.

DEMOletter: Reaction to their DEMO: Before any bad communications get sent out by employees, this system gives them a chance to realize that what they're sending around may be inappropriate (sexist jokes, etc.), personal or illegal (sending out confidential information). The company did a good job of showing how the OutBoxer system creates these pop-up notices, in addition to the different ways that e-mails can still be sent, or not sent at all (confidential information automatically doesn't get sent). With more companies using this system, maybe all the bad joke e-mails that I get will slow down.

Executives at NukePirates have even received death threats -- before they got an unlisted phone number -- and were hit by a smear campaign in which someone faked a junk e-mail attack as coming from the company. Programmers, meanwhile, have tried to develop countermeasures, including PeerGuardian, which tries to spurn Internet probes from those anti-piracy companies, and Blubster, a file-sharing service that promises to keep users anonymous.
