Earnings: Sony Down On Falling Gadget Sales, High Yen | paidContent

[paidContent] Sales of TVs, digital cameras and video cameras have all declined and Sony is selling far fewer games products : just 1.1 million PS3s and 1.3 million PSPs were shipped in the quarter compared to 1.6 million and 3.7 million respectively in the same period last year.

Sony's hopes hang on the Playstation 3

[Freyburg.com] According to Fortune, Sony has to knock the PS3 launch out of the park in order to hang on to its already tenuous position in the consumer electronics marketplace. How they'll do that with a marginally better box than the Xbox 360 with a half-thought out online presence and a de-rumbled controller is any body's guess.

Apple II emulator on the PSP

Sony W600 Walkman Phone

[~Tech Angel~] Another phone that was released by Sony Ericcson today was the Sony W600 Walkman Phone. The W600 allows you to easily copy and access your favorite music, has great sound with built-in speakers, Bluetooth, and a 1.3 megapixel camera. It can hold up to ten cds and can play music up to 15 hours long with the phone on or 30 hours with the phone in music mode.
