http://seedlings.blogsome.com [seedlings] For at least a decade, a vast number of color printers (including models from Hewlett-Packard, Epson, Dell, Canon, and Lexmark) have been printing nearly-invisible yellow tracking dots on every page they print. The dots encode the printer’s serial number, as well as the date and time of printing, allegedly as a protection against counterfeiting:
