Gadgetism.org > Nintendo Reveals Revolution and GameBoy Micro
[CeprixConception] Revolution’s slot-loading drive uses a proprietary disc format, but this is the first Nintendo set-top console to provide backwards compatibility with its predecessor. Unlike GameCube, Revolution can play DVD movies through a self-contained attachment. The new console also features 512MB of internal memory expandable through an SD card slot, built-in wireless networking, two USB 2.0 ports and wireless controllers that were not shown during the presentation.

[BLOG.HV1.NET] Its E3 time!!: Here’s a direct link to Gamespot. (I want the silver one to match my silver Sony Wega TV!!) Unfortunately, it hasn’t been officially dated, nor has a price tag been associated with it yet. (We are all expecting a $300-$350 price tag though.)

At a mere 2.8 ounces, the Game Boy Micro is about two-thirds the weight of Apple's IPod Mini MP3 player, says Fils-Aime. The latter was something I think I could finally get my wife to use as an entry to possibly finding game consoles useful for more than playing DVDs or distracting her three children (my two kids and myself). EyeToy Kinetics let’s one use the PS2 with an attached EyeToy camera as an interactive exercise device, with exercises ranging from a sedate but rewarding Tai-Chi-like session, to a heart pounding aerobic kick boxing work out.
