[Cyrus Weblog] Textually.org says: Motorola to Release Handset with Gigabyte Memory Telecoms Korea reports that Motorola plans to introduce a new phone with gigabyte memory, following Samsung Electronics and Nokia. “A Motorola official said in the World Handset Forum in Shanghai, “I cannot tell you the name of the phone and when it exactly would be released in the global market. However, it might be within this year. We expect to debut iTunes phone in the fourth quarter.” Thats some good news for Motorola but while Nokia has already anounced N91, a 4 GB MP3-phone...
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Status-Q] BluePhoneElite: Of course, when moving away from a Nokia, you sacrifice ease of use. And Motorola’s user interface is even worse than most. This has bothered me less recently because much of what I used to do on phones I now do on my Powerbook which integrates with most of them very nicely.

[Tuaw.com] The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW): i'm very excited by the entry of Apple into the mobile world. I'm curious how they are working directly with motorola to launch their mobile itunes solution and if this solution will work on other carrier handsets. [Digitalmusic.weblogsinc.com] Nokia Pushes Aside Motorola; Makes History; Asks for Your ...: the answer is possibly not, as carriers have already demonstrated their displeasure at being cut out of the music-revenue loop in the case of Motorola’s iTunes phone. To be clear, the N91 is not an iTunes-branded instrument, and it does not connect with an online store. It connects to the PC via USB 2.0, syncing up with its 4GB hard drive—the first such drive in a cell phone. Multiple music formats are supported, and a stereo headphone jack is built in.
