And he'll hide somewhere and no one could find him. Ohh, I'm just so mad for the rest of the day, I couldn't get any more work done back in office. Damnit damnit damnit.

http://lys-ithea.blogspot.com [My Little Loft] Serious ranting mode on: Another colleague overheard and I think she understood my anger. She spoke to him at length about something he said to some students the previous day regarding calling them worse than shit. After which when I had cooled down and was more civil, I said to him that I know my students and they will not gamble. And everyone else in the school was playing cards because not every teacher implemented the rule of not playing cards, so what I would have done if I were in class were to simply tell them to keep the cards and take out some books to read.

http://lys-ithea.blogspot.com [My Little Loft] Humpty Dumpty: She was bleeding profusely so we called for an ambulance. By the time they came, Grandma's head had somewhat stopped bleeding. She was a bit stunned in the beginning but did not lose consciousness at all. When we had to put her on the stretcher, Grandma was gripping my fingers very tightly and refusing to let go.

Yongfook.comhttp://www.yongfook.com [Yongfook.com] Yongfook.com - the Japanese Food Blog, now with 42% more deathwish ...: Dairy Sour comes in 2 varieties, pale green and pale yellow. The green flavour was “melon” but I chose the far more ambiguous-sounding “fruit” flavour, which proudly proclaims it’s 1% fruit content near the bottom of the bottle. It is a liquid, rather than some kind of viscous yoghurt-like drink and also has the world’s most difficult to read colour scheme, what with it’s hysterically stupid choice of white text, which is completely camouflaged by the pale milky colours of the liquid inside.

http://blog.realitycrutch.com [Blog.realitycrutch.com] --( realitycrutch blog | In the Wake of Ari )--: There is no moon. You can see the lights from a couple distant freighters, the lighthouses, and Milky Way—every twinkling sun, planet and satellite. You look up until your neck hurts or you're dizzy and have to lie down on the damp lawn or go back inside for another drink.

Peterpayne.net[Peterpayne.net] J-List side blog: March 2000: But as with all observations about Japan, there are the exceptions. In America, consumers expect trusted brands, and most of the products you see -- from Milky Way and M&Ms to Coca Cola and Rice Krispies -- have been around for dozens of years. In Japan, however, companies are under pressure to come up with new products -- Morinaga's Choco Flake may have been "the delicious chocolate snack enjoyed by consumers since 1963" but when retailers want something new to attract consumers, it "out with the old, in with the new."
