The Gadget Show from five[The Gadget Show from five] Toshiba has just announced that it is to put an end to its HD DVD businesses, effectively consigning the format to an early grave. The firm, which has been the main driving force behind the hi-def movie format, will cease producing and shipping HD DVD hardware by the end of this month.
