The most important gadget right now looks like its the Calendar one–now you can view your Google Calendar events without leaving Gmail. The only reason I hung on to Outlook as long as I did was because of the integrated calendar and email. Will functionality like this convert other former Outlook users?

It doesn't make much sense the way it works now, adding a separate feature for each item to appear on the right side (currently Chat and Labels only).
