[Oceanside, Nevada :: Main Page] I think I first thought of this about a month ago. You can ask anyone, even TJ, she'll tell you. I called her from work to tell her about this terrific business idea I had.

[naked cartwheels] With the Friends I've Been Knowing: But, as there is no rest for the weary, Hub-To-Be and I took his Mom, the next morning, for a not-as-terrific-as-I'd hoped brunch at SoHo's the Cub Room, which should not, under any circumstances, be patronized. (I tried to go to the awesome Five Points--luscious food, beautiful cherry blossoms everywhere, reasonable prices, but was on the late freight, and could not work a reservation.) After the food, I pseudo-limped a few blocks toward home with B and E, but soon I was being rushed into a cab.

[And you thought your life was fun!] AMERICA, YOU SUCK!!!: I see really bad parents all the time, and the outcome of bad parenting, and I have to admit that it puts a lot of pressure on me to be better than that. I will say, though, that as far as the consistency thing, and trying to be TJ's friend, I'm not worried about that. I agree with Julia that it's hard to be consistent all the time, b/c TJ really tries to test me, and it is really draining. He won't just stop b/c I say no, so I have to continually get up from what I'm doing to make him stop.

Hackenbush.org[Hackenbush.org] Weblog Entry - 09/29/2004: "Keenspot in Turlock": On the other hand, I had no idea what was going on in "Greystone Inn" and "Newshounds" because the last time I read them was over two years ago. FYI, I have an essay in the next issue (Issue 5) of J LHLS on the way of the how of webcomics in print at Plan 9 Publications, as well as an interview (already online) with David Allen, the Plan 9 founder. In J LHLS Issue 3 there is an essay on "Pibgorn" and an interview with its creator, Brooke McEldowney, that touch on some of these issues as well. With respect, Tim, the differences between webcomics and syndicated comics are a little more than the physical dynamics of format: one being economics, as we have seen in Turlock, another being editorial control, and another being that it can take years for a comic creator to get work syndicated, whereas with webcomics a little drawing, a little scan, a little FTP and away you go.

[Gheorghe77.blogspot.com] Gheorghe: The Blog: Oh yeah, farewell to Reggie Miller, who got a terrific ovation from the fans last night and a not-too-often-seen display of respect from the opposing team and coach in his final game. Classy move by nomad Larry Brown and the Pistons last night. I had no problem with that.

[Invasioniowa.spiketv.com] Invasion Iowa: Scott Riggan, his wife Carol, and their son Travis are in Hawaii as I write this, enjoying their warm weather vacation! Diana Schultz recently finalized the adoption of her Grandson, T.J. Wayne Simon, last I spoke with him, is very happy with the show. He went home and talked to his family in between the mini reveal and the major reveal.
