Eco Gadgets: Eizo Nanao's Power Saving Monitors Turn Off When You ...

[Ecofriend] Dubbed the EcoView Sense Feature, the motion sensing system senses the presence of a viewer and turns off the monitor when the user has been away for more than 40 seconds, and then resumes normal operation when the user returns. The smart sensor can differentiate between animate and inanimate objects so it will still enter power save mode if it detects an object such as the backrest of a chair.

[The Raw Feed] Also the extended point makes it stick out more than I personally would like, that may be a problem if your USB ports are on the rear of a laptop and you grab it and lift it from the front.
