[Silicon Alley Insider] Bach also talked up mobile advertising -- and had a colleague show off a wonky, unimpressive, ad-supported mobile video game -- a throwback to "Space Invaders," in which Microsoft's "clippy" character (from MSFT's Office apps) danced around the cellphone screen as Microsoft's Sean Alexander shot at Dorito chips. We have picked the best, the weirdest, and the most wonderful, from laser liners that look like Wall-E's Eve evil twin, microwave containers with lids, and wall-mounted home server enclosures straight out of Star Trek, to self-propelled sprayers (like me), NYC condom dispensers/wrappers (no connection there), a "vibrating massager" that looks like an aubergine, and even a precision timing detonation system.

i2i Stream wireless music sharing gadget

[Travel Gear Blog] Back in the halcyon days of portable CDs and even walkmen, I used to own a little graphic equalizer that had one input and two outputs, which enabled me to share my music with my headphone-wearing friend sitting next to me on a plane. Thanks to the i2i Stream, I can now do that wirelessly from about 10 or 15 seats away, provided we don’t try it during takeoff or landing.

All of the ads were based on the new mozilla.com website look and feel.
