Nintendo.....Wii?!?!

http://www.freyburg.com [Freyburg.com] Nintendo....Wii?!?! In a move clearly meant to satiate their bread-and-butter Japanese market, Nintendo has dubbed their next console "the Wii." In my opinion, that's a pretty stupid name, but then I thought the Nintendo DS wasn't such a hot idea, and I was proven wrong.

I liek a bargain!

[Sam’s Ramblings] Anyway, I decided to check out their site today to see if the printer was still on offer as quite often stores will say “Last Day” but that’s just to get you there”¦like DFS and their “Ends this Sunday” adverts However, I was very surprised and most delighted to learn that the price has indeed changed today, and gone right back up to £99.99.

Half Life 2: a tribute to awesomeness

http://www.freyburg.com [Freyburg.com] I picked up Metal Gear Solid 2 at a flea market to tide us over, but we need a game with the depth and great gameplay of HL2 (for the regular Xbox.) I know Oblivion for the 360 is supposedly amazing, but I won't be getting a Microsoft's next-gen console for a little while yet...

Flash drive that fattens up with data

http://www.mobilitysite.com [MobilitySite] Although it is only a concept design, I find this one intriguing. Designed by Dima Komissarov, the flashbag USB drive is eqipped with a tiny pump to inflate it as it becomes filled with data, sort of like a high tech tick.

The Red Ferret Journalhttp://www.redferret.net [The Red Ferret Journal] Props to Mr and Mrs Designer for making this hackneyed old concept actually look interesting in this incarnation. A real digital clock powered by juice and which looks faintly retro 1950’s Dr Frankenstein.
